Salida Gunshop is now proud to offer 4 types of training all with NRA Certified Instructors. 

  1. Individual instruction $100 per hour
  2. Conceal Carry Course $100
  3. Intermediate Course – call to schedule your 4 hour course with any of our 6 accredited instructors $300
  4. Our Ladies only nights schedule is below from 5pm-8pm all free of charge! Dannye will be the range safety officer and instructor for the evening as well as the following day for the Ladies Only conceal carry course starting at 2pm.  Sign up for ladies night below.

Concealed Carry Course

If you are new to firearms we suggest the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Online Course Phase I. This course is entirely self paced and all online. This online portion is paid to the NRA and upon completion a certificate can be printed. Please present this at the time of your class. Courses are now available weekly Tuesday and Saturday 12pm start time. Call now to reserve a date. Interested in a class further in the future please call.

During the course we cover Firearm Safety, range safety and etiquette, types and parts of a handgun, holsters, proper handling of a firearm, storage, Colorado CCW law and much more.
On the range we go over safety. We shoot targets from 7 yards out to 15 yards. Plan on bringing your firearm and 50-100 rounds of ammunition. Hearing and eye protection are mandatory.
Our instructors are NRA certified. 
No need to feel worried about having little or no experience. Many of our students have used this class to learn the basics of firearms. We are happy to have new gun owners take this class.
We will do private classes for family, friends, church groups, co-workers or any other group.
